I'm Ayush Singh, a frontend developer from Lalitpur, Nepal. I started learning web development out of curiosity, the kind that starts with "how does this page work" and ends up consuming most of your evenings.
My approach is straightforward: understand the fundamentals well, build real things, and iterate. I don't rush toward frameworks before the basics are solid. That means I've spent a lot of time with JavaScript, learning what's actually happening before letting a library handle it.
Right now I'm working through React and preparing to pick up Node.js. The goal is full-stack, but I'd rather get there knowing what I'm doing than skip steps. I'm currently in my 8th semester of BCA at NCIT, Lalitpur.
I'm open to internships, junior roles, and small freelance work where I can learn while contributing something real.
Keeping track of job applications in a spreadsheet gets messy fast. JobTrack is a focused tool to log applications, update their status, and keep everything visible without digging through rows of cells. Data persists via LocalStorage, no backend needed.
A personal expense tracker that lets you log spending by category and see totals automatically. Built to practice real JavaScript data handling with no libraries and no shortcuts. Everything saves to LocalStorage so it works across sessions without any server.
A UI concept for booking local event venues, something that doesn't really exist in a clean form for small venues in Nepal. Includes a login simulation and a booking flow. Focused on layout, form handling, and making a multi-step UI feel usable.
A small, practical tool: enter an original price and discount percentage, get the final price. Simple by design. Built as a deliberate exercise in writing clean, minimal JavaScript without reaching for anything extra.
A console-based quiz game written in C. Not a web project, this one was about understanding program flow, control structures, and scoring logic at a lower level. A reminder that fundamentals in one language make every other language easier.
